We were quite surprised when Travis informed us this poster was hanging in his high school band room advertising BYU's bands and percussion. Do you recognize our daughter, Rachel? I wonder how many other band rooms across the state and country have Rachel posted on their bulletin boards.
Pretty awesome we think.

What an awesome proud mom moment for you! She is beautiful and now...famous. :)
Oh yes! This is awesome. I am smiling big. Congrats to you and Rachel!!!
I think that is awesome! I am amazed that you or she didn't know about it. Don't they have to get permission to put your likeness on something this public?
It is VERY FUN to have the honor of being on a poster!! :-D
That is a beautiful picture or her too!!
You now have two poster children! Maybe you should stick the remaining two in modeling since they will probably also end up on a poster.
That IS awesome! How exciting! :)
How awesome is that !! Congratulations !!!
Oh wow! That is so cool!
I can see why they'd have her on the poster. She's a real beauty and they're hoping to get kids to sign up for band at BYU. It is a shocker to know she may be in a lot of high schools throughout Utah.
She's famous!
Aw, Rachel!! Pretty awesome, I think, too!!! (I'm still bitter that I never made a BYU poster...) :-)
That is awesome. Funny that no one told her that they were putting her on the poster.
Awesome, indeed! And beautiful too.
Wow, that is awesome! so BEAUTIFUL :)
Pretty cool!
=D
Beautiful, she is definitely the poster child for BYU music. Congrats.
Yay! That is very cool!
A celebrity! That's funny, did you know about those posters?
I've enjoyed catching up on your blog. I absolutely love hearing about fun family traditions because it gives me ideas to start with my own family. I particularly like the Coca Cola box advent idea, I'm on the hunt for a cola box now. Maybe I'll paint it red or antique white.
How fun!!!
That is Pretty Darn Awesome. She represents well!
I think it's pretty awesome too. She looks so beautiful. BTW, I am hosting a giveaway for an awesome clock to thank my followers. Pop over if you'd like to enter. Good luck & thank you for reading!

I'm trying out this new reply feature in Blogger and it seems to work!
As I understand it, when you are a student, faculty, or staff at BYU, they can use your likeness however they want to promote BYU.
We had no ideas those posters were printed until my son saw it one day in his band classroom. Pretty fun for us.
That is soooOoo awesome! They obviously picked the most gorgeous flutiest as their poster child :D
