Beauty in the Brrr

My cousin inspired me yesterday. Hoping to cheer herself up, she decided to search outdoors for something beautiful. I understand that wintry need so I took her exercise to heart. This is what I found:

Climbing Rose
Burning Bush
Rose of Sharon
Apple Tree
It was gratifying to see that there really was beauty to be found in the deep midwinter.

Thank you for sharing... I always need to be reminded of the beauty of winter - I tend to let it get me down far too often. Hope you have a good day!

So pretty. I'm good at admiring winter from a distance of at least 700 miles.

Oh Julie...thank you thank you thank you! In the cold and sometimes dreary north, the winter can be OH. So. Long. I am going outside today to find that kind of beauty, even amidst the layers of snow and ice. Lovely pix!
