Snow powdered the mountains above our home today and there was a definite chill in the air.
Yet, in our yard on the bench below, hot pink chrysanthemums were nearing full bloom.
Their white sisters had already arrived.
I even found (a very sedate) bee enjoying the last frostless day.

I'm afraid my impatiens are on their last legs. Last night it froze, so their beauty may be a thing of the past! These are such beautiful pictures.
Is there really snow on them there hills? It's nice to see flowers still blooming as winter is not far away!!
