Happy Halloween!

It's a happy Halloween when soup comes in pumpkin-shaped bread bowls.

It's a happy Halloween when your children can carve their pumpkins all by themselves!

It's a happy Halloween when your one and only trick-or-treater is excited to wear the no-fuss costume you suggested--skirt made for her older sister years ago and vintage cardigan that was her grandmother's.

It's a happy Halloween when you successfully picked out and consumed all the Reese's peanut butter cups from the Costco-size bag of candy you bought.

Happy Halloween!

It sure looks Happy over there.
I love that big open mouth on the pumpkin. Its nice to see normal jack o lanterns without the tricky patterns that you trace.
And that cardigan....just beautiful!

I know all about buying candy and eating it too soon. This year we made dinner in a pumpkin. I though that is what you did too, but that bread bowel looks amazing. I'd love to have the receipe. :)

Hi Brianna! Don't be too impressed. I bought these at a local bakery--Shirley's. I HAVE made bread bowls before and love them, but never attempted to turn them into orange pumpkins. Convenience and ease make me happy.

I purposely did not buy pb cups this year. Too bad you're not handing out candy. I have a serious hankering.

I, too, purposely never buy pb cups. I have enough of a hard time just having laffy taffy in the house. The bag doesn't get opened until the doorbell rings for the first time!

Hey, Spencer called today and said they were having a great time. I meant to tell him to tell Travis to call home but totally forgot. Hope he remembers on his own!

What a darling bread bowl!
Love the costume and pumpky-kins!
I bought dum-dums, so I have not indulged in PB cups. (Lip quivering, tears beginning to flow.) Believe me I considered going to the store tonight and fixing that.
I guess there is always Monday right?

Thank you for stopping by my blog this weekend. I just looked through some of your posts, and I have to tell you I was very touched by your recollections of your brother, Steven. Moving.
