Getting Crafty Again

Now that the wedding is over I am in the mood to get crafty. Here is what I created this week.

THIS is my kind of project--quick and easy. I hadn't used Modge Podge since I was a kid, but it was great fun.

Suzanne at Just Another Hang Up (one of my favorite bloggers) posted a tutorial for this back-to-school plaque and will share the template she created with anyone who requests it--free!

I also made these earrings. Which pair is your favorite?

Thank you so much for giving me a heads up so I could hurry on over and check out your creation! I appreciate it so much. I love your plaque sitting there on your beautiful shelf -- so cute with the wheat and apple next to it! It turned out beautifully!

All those earrings are yummy! I love all the colors, but I think my favorite is the red set!

I love the silver pair on the right!

I love those earrings! I think the teal ones and red are tied for my favorites. You are so talented.

I love the silvery blue ones on the right! I've always wanted to learn how to make earrings! Will you teach me?

Not one for sitting still, are you? Love the plaque and the earrings. I love them all but if I had to pick, I would go with the blue ones! They would go with a lot of things, I think! We just cleaned out our craft bins this weekend -- glitter, glitter everywhere. Allison called it "When crafts attack!"

Ah, Julie! You are so clever! I love the blue ones and the silver ones, but they're all so darling! I hope that someday my life will be such that I will have time to do some of my favorite crafting things again. I'm just a tiny bit jealous!

Lisa, you are the queen of bead bracelets, but I would love to show you how I do earrings.

Laura, the reality is that I am really good at putting off things I SHOULD be doing because I just don't want to do them. :)

Marianne, your time will come again. Sorry to make you feel that way. Hugs!

Jenny, Emma, and Suzanne, glad you like them and thanks!

You really are so clever--you make cute crafts so it's a good thing that you carve out time for them. Making the time can be tricky. I love the pair of earrings on the right, of course, and the red ones too.
