Here are some pictures I took of the red rock formations in Arches National Park.
What would YOU have called them?

Three Gossips

Balanced Rock

Turret Arch

Double Arch

I used to think nature had to be green to be beautiful, but I must admit, beauty can be found everywhere.

I LOVE these pictures. LOVE LOVE LOVE. Could it be because I love Arches? What an amazing place. And I TOTALLY know what you mean about the hike to Delicate Arch. I hate that hike. But that last turn, when you first see the arch, brings tears to my eyes. It's that worth it, don't you think? It's actually one of my very favorite places in the world.

I remember how enthralled our Japanese visitors were with the red rocks and dry country, because they were so very different than what they were used to. They seemed much less interested in the mountains and forests.
