I can sew a straight stitch and this is what I made:
Much to Brian's dismay my collection of throw pillows is growing. Actually, I have not purchased any more lately--simply changed the covers on pillow forms I already owned. It is amazing how a yard of fabric can make such a dramatic change in a room.
Right now black and white damask is a favorite as per this post, and now that May is here I am feeling Spring green as well.

Yay for beautiful fabric! You inspire me. I've had the same pillows forever. Maybe I can change them!!
I have layers, and layers of fabric on some pillow-forms, too lazy to peel off the old layer...Sometimes I will rip them all off to reveal favorites from years past. I love pillows, too! Wonderful things! I've been loving the rectangular back support-ish shaped ones, and the wool textured ones (felt circles sewn on--doesn't have to be straight lines!) and the ruffled pillows...sigh. We should have a pillow party next time I'm in state.
They look great! One of these days I'll follow your example.
Wow. Way to develop your talents. Seriously. I want to be like you. Good thing I have half your genes...
