Love is in the air.

My oldest daughter, Rachel, is engaged! He (David) is her PERFECT match.

Wow.

I must really, actually, truly be middle age--soon to be a mother-in-law and all.

How did this happen?

I am a bit dazed.

But. . .

more importantly, I feel happy and peaceful.

Let the party planning begin!

Congratulations! I'm so excited for all of you! Have they picked a date? Let me know if I can do anything to help.

Also...may I add that we are resisting most planning until after the semester is over... :)

Ah ha! I was wondering what the deal was when I read your friending exchange with him. How exciting! They are too cute together! We love red hair in our family, seems you all do too!
Congratulations, mother-in-law. You will be great and not at all meddlesome!

Congratulations to the soon-to-be-MIL! You will be great! Has she known him long? What is the romantic story behind this?
